Today, on June 24 one thousand days passed since the American pastor Saeed Abedini was imprisoned in the Iranian prison.

Pastor's wife Naghmeh Abedini writes: "I was encouraged that 1,000,000 individuals had signed the petition for Saeed and many people have been calling the white house and State Department! I can not share the details, but there has been movement with our government since the calls! There was also 1,000 flowers that were displayed at US capitol as a reminder of the days that Saeed has been imprisoned in Iran.

It has been a very encouraging yet difficult day. Lately I have been struggling with the urgency that we need to get Saeed out and yet everything seems to be moving at a slow pace. The kids hurt for their dad and have gotten so big. I look at the attached pictures and the pain at times is unbearable. Only Jesus truly sees the painful days that are spent as my kids grow up without their father. I rejoice for the fact that it is for the Gospel, but the pain is still there. the 1,000 days feels like a life time to the kids and I.

Below is a Music Video that the kids and I recently were a part of. It is a powerful video that our friends Amy and Daniel Lofotu made to bring more awareness for Saeed's cause."

We will continue staying in prayer for release of our beloved brother Saeed!
