Regional conference for women

On May, 28th in the Tver Baptist church regional conference for sisters took place.
Its theme was "Womens friendship", words "A friend loveth at all times, and a brother is born for adversity" (Proverbs 17:17) became the motto of conference.
About 50 sisters from churches of different cities of our area actively participated in action: prayed, listened to sermons, shared testimonies in small groups, did hand-made articles, sang.
Vera Izotova was the leader of conference. She is the blessed sister, who is responsible for women service in Russia.
Vera Izotova opened an essence of the concepts underlying womens friendship (love, support, trust, understanding, ability to forgive, ability to listen, etc.).
Also the question was considered: "That destroys friendship?" Vera Izotova spoke about personal prayful life. It is the major theme because if we want to grow we have to study God's Word and incessantly pray. On our prayers the Lord specifies to us who is lonely and needs our friendship.
Sisters of our church have taken active part in conference. Oksana Titova has given a master class "Present a gift to the friend". Anzhella Tsoy and Oksana Ivanova helped her. Sister Galina Soloveva has told the testimony. It was entrusted to me to consider a theme "Loneliness". I thank the Lord that He gave the chance to me to serve sisters.
